MADAME LE CIGOGNE ELLIPSE TRAY

Part of Le Boudoir Collection, these series of trays in the shape of medallions, gives an amused portrayal of day birds, avid intellectuals, and courteous babblers, who filled the social salons of the 19th century.  

The trick of the fox is legendary, yet this popular fable consists of two parts: in the first, the stork falls unsurprisingly into the trap of the cunning, but in the second part, the fox falls into his own trap, this time set by a stork more ingenious than expected.

The double use of these creations allows them to add a touch of poetry to interiors, either as small serving trays or displayed freely on a wall.
