Section 1 – Our Commitment

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from ONEDERKAM. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please review the options below. This policy applies to purchases made through www.onederkam.com. For questions at any time, contact us at theone@onederkam.com.

Nothing in this policy limits or waives any rights you may have under applicable law, including California consumer protection statutes and the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

 

Section 2 – Standard Returns

Eligibility

Most items may be returned for a full refund (minus original shipping costs) within 30 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  The item is unused and in its original condition

  The item is in its original packaging with all tags, accessories, and inserts intact

  You have received a Return Authorization (RA) number from us before shipping the item back

 

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, email us at theone@onederkam.com with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 2 business days with your Return Authorization number and return instructions. Do not send items back without first obtaining an RA number, as unauthorized returns may be refused.

 

Shipping Your Return

Once authorized, ship your item(s) to:

  Include your original packing slip or order confirmation inside the package

  Original packaging is strongly recommended to prevent transit damage

  You are responsible for return shipping costs; shipping costs are non-refundable

  We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items valued over $75, as we cannot be responsible for packages lost by the carrier

  If your return package is lost by the carrier, please file a claim with the carrier directly using your tracking number

 

Section 3 – Refunds

Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time (typically 3–10 business days) to post the credit to your account.

 

Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be issued in the following situations:

  Any item returned with signs of use, missing parts, or damage not caused by our error

  Any item not in its original packaging where the packaging’s condition affects resale value

 

Non-Refundable Situations

No refund will be issued for:

  Items returned more than 30 days after the delivery date

  Items that were clearly damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer after delivery

 

Return Shipping Damage

If a returned item arrives at our facility damaged, we will notify you with photos within 2 business days. We will work with you to determine the cause. If damage occurred due to insufficient packaging, a partial or no refund may apply. If damage appears to have been caused by the carrier, we encourage you to file a claim with the carrier using your shipment’s insurance. We will provide documentation to support your claim upon request.

 

If You Haven’t Received Your Refund

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days from our notification:

  First, recheck your bank account or credit card statement

  Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary

  If you still have not received your refund, contact us at theone@onederkam.com and we will investigate

 

Section 4 – Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless they arrive defective or damaged (see Section 5):

  Sale items — defined as any item discounted 20% or more from its regular listed price, or any item marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase

  Custom-made or special-order items

  Furniture and rugs

  Gift cards

  Certain health and personal care items (noted on the product page)

  Items marked as non-returnable on their product listing

 

If you are unsure whether an item is returnable before purchasing, please email us at theone@onederkam.com and we will confirm.

 

Section 5 – Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged during shipping to you, or is not the item you ordered, we will make it right at no cost to you. California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and applicable federal law entitle you to a remedy for goods that do not conform to the implied warranty of merchantability.

 

Please contact us at theone@onederkam.com within 7 days of delivery and include:

  Your order number

  A description of the issue

  Clear photos of the defect, damage, or incorrect item

 

Upon verification, you may choose one of the following remedies:

  A full refund to your original payment method (including original shipping costs)

  A replacement of the same item shipped to you at no charge

 

We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. You will not be responsible for any return shipping costs in these cases.

 

Section 6 – Exchanges

We accept exchanges for the same item in a different size or color, subject to availability, within 30 days of delivery. Items must meet the same eligibility conditions as standard returns (unused, original packaging).

 

To request an exchange, email us at theone@onederkam.com with your order number and the details of the exchange you need. We will respond within 2 business days with instructions. Exchanges are typically processed within 5–7 business days of receiving your returned item. Depending on your location, delivery of the exchanged item may take an additional 3–10 business days.

 

If the requested item is not available, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method instead.

 

Section 7 – Sale Items

Items discounted 20% or more from their regular listed price, or items explicitly marked “Final Sale,” are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect (see Section 5). This exclusion will be clearly noted on the product page at the time of purchase.

Items with smaller promotional discounts (under 20%) are eligible for return under our standard policy in Section 2.

 

Section 8 – Gift Returns

If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for store credit in the form of a gift certificate mailed to you.

 

Please note the following regarding gift certificates:

  Gift certificates do not expire, in compliance with California Business & Professions Code § 17538.9

  Gift certificates may be redeemed at www.onederkam.com for any eligible purchase

  Gift certificates are non-transferable and have no cash value

 

To initiate a gift return, email us at theone@onederkam.com with the order number (if available) or the name of the person who purchased the gift.

 

Section 9 – California Consumer Rights

As a California-based business, we are committed to complying with all applicable California consumer protection laws. Under California Civil Code § 1723, our return policy is posted clearly before purchase at www.onederkam.com.

California consumers have rights under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and other applicable statutes that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit those rights. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs at www.dca.ca.gov.
